Merchant Hotel’s Contribution to Cycle Participants

Merchant Hotel’s Contribution to Cycle Participants

On Sunday, 29 January 2017, Merchant Business Class Hotel in Meyerton, hosted Waterpoint 4 as part of the The Value Logistics Fast One Cycle Race, with rave reviews.

“It is a huge commitment, which Merchant Hotel has completed in the most professional manner, which has resulted in a very successful event.  All the cyclist have remarked on the high quality and friendliness of this year’s Water Points,” explained Sean Greeff, on behalf of Riverside Rotary, organisers of the Value Logistics Fast One Cycle Race.

Going beyond what is expected from an accommodation venue has become a trademark of the Merchant Hotel.  Cyclists that choose Merchant Hotel as their accommodation venue, were treated with specially prepared race packs for them to enjoy before their grueling race.  Definitely a first in the cycling world.

Thank you to every cyclist for stopping at the Merchant waterpoint and providing us with the opportunity to quench your thirst and helping you in your race.  We will most definitely do this again in 2018!” confirmed Diederick Rosslee, owner of the Merchant Hotel.

The Value Logistics Fast One Cycle Race took place at Midvaal Raceway in Meyerton.  Two cycle categories were available – 96 km (elite, CSA licensed and social) and 49km (social).

Merchant Business Class Hotel is perfectly located between Johannesburg and the Vaal Triangle in the energetic and rapidly expanding Midvaal corridor.  Discerning travellers are hosted exclusively in a tranquil and friendly environment that will help them to relax, be revived and refreshed for their new business day.
